Ste.anne marine national park, mahe island
It is 20 minutes from Mahé Island by boat. Ste. Anne Marine National Park is one amongst the oldest snorkeling sites in the Indian Ocean. Consisting of six islands, the park offers a plethora of marine life and is a nesting place for hawksbill turtle. Beautiful tropical fishes and bottlenose dolphins can be spotted in the park.
The vista bay rocks, beau vallon, mahe island
Located in the end of Beau Vallon Bay, the Vista Bay Rocks is a great site for snorkelling. Teeming with coral reefs and granite, this particular area hosts moray Eels.
Curieuse island
Located 2km off Praslin, Curieuse Island reserves great surprises for snorkelers. Since 1970 this particular point in the Curieuse Marine National Park is being protected. Hump head parrot fish regularly visits the place and there is an amazing granite formation.
Anse Lazio, Praslin island
Anse Lazio is located in the North-West of Praslin. It is commonly known to be the best beach on Praslin. This stunning place will mesmerize you. With a crystal clear water, the visibility under water is fantastic. It is another spot where turtles and barracuda can be spotted. Anse Lazio holds stunning granite formation and beautiful corals.
Coco island, Praslin island
7km off Praslin, the Coco Island is relatively small but offers a rich maritime life. Snorkelers will appreciate this unique spot. Parrotfish, deep red anthias, blue damselfish, boxfish, angelfish and surgeon inhabit in this outstanding place.
